The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. Mohammed
Alhassan on Tuesday began a three-day official tour of some security
operational posts and zones in the Northern Region.
The IGP, who was accompanied by DCOP John Kudalo, Director General of
Police Operations is expected to inspect police logistics and interact
with the personnel to know their operational challenges.
He would visit Gushiegu, Nakpanduri and Bawku to ascertain the
difficulties on the ground and possibly resource the personnel with
logistics.
At the Yendi Divisional Command, Mr. Alhassan inspected some armoured
vehicles and bemoaned the bad maintenance culture of the personnel and
urged them to ensure periodic maintenance of the vehicles, ready for
