Mion Presiding Member kicks against nomination of MMDCES


Citi News sources in the northern region have speculated that majority of the District Chief Executives in that part of the country are likely to be retained.
Vetting of aspiring MMDCE’s has already begun particularly in the Greater Accra region.

The exercise is expected to be replicated nationwide but Presiding Member for the newly created Mion district assembly, Alhassan Adam has kicked against any calculated move to nominate the next batch of MMDCES.

“Some of us who are advocating for the elections of MMDCES have been taken aback by the process which has just started to nominate people for approval by the various assemblies.”

Buttressing his standpoint, Alhassan Adam implied, “I can say for sure that most of our MMDCES are not working simply because they have not signed any social contract with the people.” read more at http://dagbonweb.com
