Mr Alex Bapula, Assembly Member for Nabulo, has been re-elected Presiding Member for Sissala East District Assembly.
Mr Bapula, a sole candidate polled 25 votes out of the 27 total vote cast to seal his victory.The election which was held during the first ordinary meeting of the third session of the sixth District Assembly did not record the usual controversies that often mar such election processes in the district.The 37-year-old Presiding Member who is the District Director of Health Services expressed his gratitude to the Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Avea Ephraim Nsoh for his efforts in reconciling the Assembly that was initially divided before the election.cont.reading
